HBO Max is welcoming a ton of other intriguing content in January. In addition to new seasons of returning favorites like Euphoria (Jan. 9) and The Righteous Gemstones (Jan. 9), we’ll see the premiere of Peacemaker (Jan. 13), a dark superhero spinoff from 2021’s The Suicide Squad starring John Cena as the titular murder-happy antihero; the film’s director, James Gunn, is onboard as creator.
Other premieres on tap: The Gilded Age (Jan. 24), a classy new drama from Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes; My Mom, Your Dad (Jan. 13), a reality dating series in which people try to fix up their respective parents; and Somebody Somewhere (Jan. 16), which follows a middle-aged woman from a small town in Kansas as she navigates life and relationships—so basically, just like Peacemaker.
